Private duty nursing is the employment of nurses by individual patients for the delivery of care. Patients hire their own nurse, who care for them either in their homes or in the hospital. The private duty nurse will deliver highly individualized care to paying patients for as long as they need.

Employing a nurse relieve patients' families of much of the responsibility: observing the patient, carrying out treatments, bringing the patient to appointments, and being available at all times. We offer a wide range of assistance to accommodate individual patient's healthcare needs. Our list of nursing services include, but are not limited to;
BASIC ACTIVITIES OF DAILY LIVING
-Showering, toileting, feeding, transferring etc.
-Nasogastric tube, PEG tube feeding
-Change of in-dwelling urinary catheter
-Performing clean intermittent catheterisation
- INSERTION OF I/V CANNULAR
ADMINISTRATION OF I/V FLUID or ANTIBIOTICS
We require a doctor's memo and the required IV antibiotics must be administered in a clinic/hospital first– it cannot be the first dose.
The doctor's memo should indicate the type, frequency and the duration of antibiotics required, the type of venous access the client has eg. by PICC or I/V cannula.
The hospital/clinic must provide the client with all the required items such as; vials of antibiotics, normal saline/ heparin solution for flushing and syringes for home use.
We offer simple wound dressing eg. pressure ulcer, bedsore.
SUBCUTANEOUS OR INTRAMUSCULAR INJECTION
Doctor's memo is required and medication needs to be provided for Nurses' administration e.g. Aspirin, Recormon, Vit B12 Injection
We provide changing of stoma bags and dressing (clients are required to provide their own stoma bags/wafer)
BLOOD GLUCOSE /BLOOD PRESSURE MONITORING
Clients are required to provide their own monitoring equipment/products
Our nurse can accompany patients to the hospital with the family for appointments or events.
*For 12 hours shift, meals will have to be provided by the patient's family for the Nurses, otherwise, a meal allowance of S$5 cash applies.
Also, the Staff is entitled to an hour lunch break.
MODE OF PAYMENT
A meeting will be arranged before the contract starts to get more information from you and let you know the details of our Nurses available.
1. How are the Private Nurses selected?
Our Singapore Nursing Board Registered Nurses are carefully chosen, they must have years of clinical experience in Singapore, skills competency checked and of good character. Safety is our first priority.
2. How do I verify Private Nurses' qualifications?
Every one of our Nurses carries an SNB License Card. You can also check with the Singapore Nursing Board.
3. What is the minimum amount of hours required for Home Nurses to work each day?
We offer procedure-based nursing service that can be as fast as 5minutes setting of the intravenous plug to 12 hours/shift bedside nursing care.
4. How much notice do you need before care begins?
We can open a case within a week if we have available Nurses, but we highly recommend 1-month prior notice in order for us to plan each Nurse's schedule well.
